We first worked with Foxwood Diesel(opens in new tab), a team of specialists in bus engineering and repair, to build a custom ecommerce website that allowed them to sell parts online. The site was tailored for performance and ease of use, with responsive images, fast load times, and a clean layout built using Tailwind CSS. Powered by Craft CMS, it gave Foxwood full control over their content and products.

As the business evolved, their priorities shifted. Selling parts online was no longer a key part of their offering, and the existing ecommerce-focused website no longer reflected who they were or what they did.

We returned to rebuild the site from the ground up. This time, the goal was to create a content-focused platform that clearly showcases Foxwood’s services, experience, and value to their clients.

What we built

Performance-first frontend

Speed was a priority from the start. We hand-coded lightweight components, including a custom feature slider, and used responsive images that load at the right size for each device. We also made full use of Craft CMS caching to ensure fast, efficient performance.

Modern and flexible design

The layout was built with Tailwind CSS to keep things clean, responsive, and adaptable. We designed a set of custom icons to visually represent Foxwood’s services and strengthen their brand.

Styled and functional forms

Using Formie, we created fully styled contact and enquiry forms that blend seamlessly with the rest of the site.

Streamlined content management

The admin area was structured around key sections like services, industries, brands, blogs, and standalone pages. We replaced global fields with categories and custom fields to simplify editing. Foxwood can now set heading tags, image alt text, and other SEO elements directly within each entry.
